An unhappy ending to an upsetting story. If I believed in God, I’d say my prayers were with Addie. My thoughts certainly are, as are my condolences to Ryan. Life goes on, but at the moment I know that’s of little consolation.

Dyaxion, thanks for the comment, but please use English, if you don’t mind, as that’s the language of this blog. And I know some Chinese people who really love their dogs and other pets, so maybe you are over-generalizing too much.

Totally agree with Richard. The Chinese I know who have pets are as crazy about them as Americans or Europeans.
