Central Heating

It got turned on yesterday. And it makes all the difference in the world.

I was going to ask: You got your heat so late? But the cut-off date is tomorrow. Heat in my place came on last week, and life is comfortable down here, but they’re going to have to crank it up a notch or two pretty soon, cos it ain’t much heat. Forecast for tomorrow is sleet, low of 0, high of 5 (celsius, of course), and the day after will be clear, but naturally colder. Enjoy your heat, but rug up warm, mate.

It got really dank and nasty out today, and I didn’t think to wear a coat over the wool suit.

The heat may have come on last week, but I was away and didn’t know it. It was a wonderful surprise to feel that blast of warm air when I got back.

I guess the wood stove will have to rest for now since the solar is not really so solar.
