Powell’s out

No surprise there. Colin was far from perfect, but considering the company he kept, he still stood out as the pearl among the swine. Will he continue to live up to his persona as “the good soldier” and remain tight-lipped about the incompetence surrounding him, or will he vent his spleen? I know he must have some spectacular stories to tell.

Will he tell all?

Nah. He stands to make millions on the rubber-chicken circuit, and besides his son has a cushy job as chairman of the FCC. I’m sure he wouldn’t want to jeopardize that.

A tremendous loss not only to the USA but to the world as well. We need more of Colin Powell.
