Public Relations Help Needed

By this poor fellow. This will be studied by communications students for semesters to come. Sometimes staying “on message” and dancing around simple questions just doesn’t work. I kind of feel sorry for the poor sucker, but then again, he gets paid by the taxpayers, and he owes the taxpayers answers.

Don’t miss the clip; it is classic. Via Yglesias.

You should look into how the ex-chairman, Tsang Yuk Sing, of the Hong Kong pro-China political party deal with the question “Are you a member of the Chinese Communist Party” in recent weeks, as an exercise in Public Relationship.

Can somebody explain to me why the attention is all focused on Palin, Mc Cain, Obama, and the rest of the clowns, when Ron Paul is clearly the answer. I mean, geez, this guy speaks the truth, he’s brilliant. But still stand no chance to be elected. It’s freaking pathetic. People in the US will get what they deserve.

Ron Paul for president, and let all the the other clowns / celebrities run a circus, not a country.

Just amazing, currently watching the Zeitgeist addendum and Ron was mentioned. I posted this reply just 30 mins before seeing it. There is definitively something happening right now. The biggest joke of the human evolution. Open your eyes people , we are watching a very bad episode of Seinfeld.

Yeah Ron Paul, Ross Perot, Lyndon Larouche all brilliant truth speakers one and all. How could a voter pass them up.

Ron Paul doesnot know a thing about economics (esp, depression economics). If we didn’t have a federal reserve, or if we are on the gold standard, I’ll guarantee that we would have a depression in the current circumstances. The only saving grace is the Fed aggressively printing money (effectively that is what the govt is doing now) to replace all the money taken out of the markets by the banks due to deleveraging.

Thank you Captain Obvious for you pre-fabricated answer, very elevating. Now will anybody actually bring something new to the table ? More and more we (the west) are automaton drones. We just spent many months, spitting on China and laughing at their citizen, but when I see the US people being so much unable to get out of the mold, it’s freaking scary. The post that Richard made about the PR guy, this is how we all sound right now. Like robots, repeating the same obvious BS.

Can anybody on this blog bring some fresh air ? Or people can only parrot web extracts ? West World. Future World.

Time to wake up now people. Seriously, a big huge wake up call. Stop analyzing the details and the CNN / Fox news. It’s not fiction, it’s true. We re now part of a big video game scenario… So the question, what will be your role ? Passive or active ? Will you actually do anything to change the course of things ? You can self-masturbate intellectually as much as you want in “higher” and more “specialist and “expert” comments, but in the end, you still live in this world. And now something is going on, what will you do about it ?

Think about this, spend some time on this subject.

Do your homework…

And then share your view. As I stated before, the internet is our tool. And many are understanding this now. Very powerful tool. And don’t be surprised if we see a major shut down of this tool very soon. They might cut it out. I think China will probably will be the first nation to shut down the internet on nation scale, and this will create a precedent.Emergency measures as we say… Keep you eyes open.

October 11, 2008 @ 5:30 am | Comment

One day, very soon, we will witness a complete shutdown on communication. China is my prime candidate for this major event.

Just remember what I said, and do not praise me or even be surprised about it, but act. Act to change the world. Take actions.

Bao, may I respectfully ask you to please stop spamming the threads? If you have something to say that’s relevant, feel free to comment. But 11 of the 14 comments in here are from you and it looks very strange.

Hi, I am sorry for the double posts. Sometimes with FF, and I don’t know why, the post don’t appear. Actually they do appear, but only after like 10 minutes. It was not my intent to double post all this.

October 11, 2008 @ 3:02 pm | Comment

I live in China, so I am using sometimes a VPN, might explain the hic hups. Please delete my double posts.

October 11, 2008 @ 3:06 pm | Comment

It’s not just your repeat comments that are the problem, it’s posting five or six comments in a row in one thread, each more irrelevant than the last.

October 11, 2008 @ 6:07 pm | Comment

I know, message received. Sorry about that. I’ll pay attention to that.

October 11, 2008 @ 10:07 pm | Comment

Hmm, ok and now something relevant… I think he should take some lessons from your previous post.

Oh and Richard, my manifesto is coming soon. You are right, I’ve been trying to use any opportunity to spread my toughs. Shame on me, or not. Crystal clear am I ? No ? šŸ˜‰

I dare you, to come with a strong argument against my vision. Please, confront me. You should be flattered, as you have been chosen to confront a vision. Why ? Who knows ? Ask yourself. Why a public front ? Who knows…

October 12, 2008 @ 2:34 am | Comment

And don’t take the easy path… I so much hope you won’t. If you do. Then, I’ll accept it, but you’ll think about it, for years to come on.

October 12, 2008 @ 2:36 am | Comment

Then my Bao goal, will be archived. So be it. Focus Richard, Focus….
