Xinhua reports: “More than 85% of China’s gov’t organs have websites”

I’m assuming the actual story has something to do with internet sites for purposes of disseminating official information, because when I first saw the headline this morning, all I could think of was “www.theheartofHu.com.cn” or “www.wenjiabaosspleen.org.” Perhaps a new moneymaker for Tiananmen Square tourism, “www.adoptapartofmao.biz.cn”? Gives new meaning to taking home a part of history. The possibilities are endless. Alright, I’ll stop now.

Deep and penetrating journalism. The rest of us could only hope to emulate, but not achieve.

has any one else noticed that guy is just creepy looking. His glasses look like their bullet proof but more than that it’s as if he could suck out your soul in a simple glance. And once again we find an engineer at the forefront of Chinese politics. Seriously what is it with Engineers and political designs in this country. All the engineers I know from other countries tend to just enjoy a good microbrew and hope to have the coolest looking house in the neighborhood 🙂
