Fixed, thanks!

Actually the Pelosi aircraft thing is a big deal. Having worked in military transportation I can tell you that this is not what the C-32 was purchased for.

She should just be happy to get a Gulfstream.

I’m glad people are calling her on it-its not right.

What exactly are they calling her on? You may be right, but please elaborate. And please don’t quote from Malkin or Red State – What did Pelosi say or do that makes you say this? Because so far I have seen a lot of hear-say Drudge-style speculation, and very little evidence. I am completely open-minded – just show me the source, and what Pelose actually did that makes this a big thing.

Skippy-san, that is such bullshit I don’t even know where to start. Because of post-911 security concerns, high ranking government officials are supposed to fly in secure environments. That means planes that can fly non-stop from coast to coast. Even Tony Snow, uber White House shilll, defended Pelosi on this.

Jesus. When are you Bush dead enders going to wake up and say something other than parroted RNC talking points? You and your leadership have lead this country into utter disaster. You don’t have any real arguments because all you people have done is screw up and blame other people. So you blindly go along with some b.s. meme that you got from Rush Limbaugh or whatever brain-dead idiot you take your talking points from.

Grow up. We’re sick of you. We’re sick of the people who have died and suffered because of your blind obediance to your thoroughly discredited leaders.

Excuse me. But I’ve had enough of this crap.

Lisa, I was trying to give our friend a little leeway. Skippy-san isn’t stupid. Can he really have fallen for this rubbish? I’m begging him to prove us wrong and show us exactly what he’s referring to. But i’m with you – there is absolutely nothing there than Malkinized hot air.

Was that clenched fist snatching Pelosi’s aeroplane out of the sky and crushing it like a gnat?!?

Does Malkin have many readers beyond those of the left who hate her and use her for “fisking” material? For reasons TPD readers and contributers would understand and proabably agree with, she barely registers in serious debate on key issues. Mainstream bloggers like Andrew Sulivan link to her for examples of unhinged extremism.

I’m sorry, but I joined the Coalition of the Shrill many years ago and now I have just had it. The Right seizes on absolutely trivial non-issues, spins them through the Mighty Wurlitzer and then we have to hear about this b.s. over and over again.

People are dying in Iraq, every day. Our national debt grows, every day. Our environment is in a crisis. Our health care system is approaching collapse. Real measures to combat terrorism have barely been implemented. Real measures to reduce our energy dependence won’t even be considered by an Administration in hock to Big Oil and Dick Cheney’s secret energy committee.

And they’re flogging Nancy Pelosi’s jet?

They should be ashamed of themselves but god knows they seem to be incapable of shame. Or guilt. Or basic decency.

Malkin is one of the best-read of all the blogs – see Thuth Laid Dear. She also appears on TV and write a newspaper column syndicated nationwide. That’s why I dwell on her as opposed to Chuckles Johnson. She really does have clout and a dedicated following, unlike Ann Coulter, who is a comedienne.

“I’m glad people are calling her on it-its not right.”

But it was Ok when Dennis Hastert did it, right? Link forthcoming, no time now.
