Undercover news report on China’s organ-harvesting trade

What a bombshell. You have all got to see the video clip. The Chinese “organ agent” cheerfully admits the organs are coming from executed Chinese prisoners. Go watch it. And discover for yourself why, if you’re looking for a liver, next week will be an ideal time to find one on the mainland. Mooncake and livers will be in abundance.

And don’t miss the bit about the public execution, and how they strip out the organs. Reminded me of this old post (go there at your own risk – it isn’t pretty).

… Why is the agent who deals with the foreign customers speaking Japanese?

I think because he’s Japanese. There are many expats working in China.

Right, but why would they have a Japanese national/speaker be in charge of dealing with foreigners unless a large percentage of the foreigners were Japanese? My point being, I wonder what the demographic make-up of these foreigners is; and I bet there are lots of Japanese.

If the case wasn’t that many of the customers were Japanese, it would make more sense to have someone that could speak English since Japanese is only spoken by Japanese people where as English is a more international language. Perhaps this Japanese man can also speak English, but the Japanese aren’t exactly known for their English language skills in a flattering way. 🙂

I guess we’d have to go to the hospital to ask…. I honestly don’t know. The doctor seen before him was speaking Chinese. Which makes you wonder, they were both (the doctor and the agent) being interviewed by the same man, an Englishman, so either the Englishman speaks fluent Japanese and Chinese, or maybe they had an interpreter (two separate interpreters?), or maybe…never mind, I’m getting a headache.

Gotta love our trolls. It’s what they do when they don’t have a life.

Wow. A scroll troll. Richard, you might send an email to Atrios about the javascript he’s included to handle the scroll trolls.

And what does this say about a certain unmentionable group of superstitious whack-a-loons, who “always lie” in their publications about the evils of China?

Sorry everyone – I am working on it. Time to start deleting. Oh, and guess who he’s friends with?

That was certainly a very dramatic piece of reporting.

So now it’s going to be much harder to deny that the trade exists. I guess instead the controversy will move to whether or not the prisoners freely volunteered to donate their organs to society.

But maybe that’s actually good news for the CCP — that’s a much easier lie to defend. 🙁

That’s frightening, though not surprising. I assume most transplants are sold to westerners : isn’t there any standard, audit, inspection, peer control in this domain ?

In the BBC news clip, the hospital patients in the cafeteria looked like a mini-UN.

I think the report is undoubtedly true, but they really should have pointed out the fact that the foreign guy is speaking in japanese and explain why given the british guy clearly speaks functional chinese – it just adds fuel to all the ccp trolls’ fire.

“blocked in China” commented on my site that that there are many sinojapanese hospitals and lots of richer people go to those types since they are better… Something like that.

Anyway theres no evidence that anyone can come up with that could show that this is not true. Anyone who knows the CCP knows that this is completely within their moral code of “ethics is superstition”.

Theres been a report by David Kilgour and David Matas, two Canadian “VIPs” which showed the evidence that organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners was indeed taking place.

The CCPs only response was to insult the two guys personally and to point out that they had misspelled or misnamed two Chinese cities in the report.

Hello!! If it wasnt true why wouldnt they let those guys come in for a look about, and why didnt they let the special rapporteur on torture from the UN do his job when he came, and why is real journalism a crime agaisnt the state, hello wake up call!!
