West Point Graduates Against the War

Yes, they really exist. And the military doesn’t like it one bit.

The Army warned an anti-war group of former U.S. Military Academy cadets to stop using the words “West Point” in its name, saying they are trademarked.

A co-founder of West Point Graduates Against the War countered Friday that his organization is simply following the cadets’ code.

“At West Point, we were taught that cadets do not lie, cheat or steal — and to oppose those who do,” said William Cross, a 1962 West Point graduate. “We are a positive organization. We are not anti-West Point or anti-military. We are just trying to uphold what we were taught.”

May they prosper and multiply.

Richard, please don’t say “the Military” when you refer to the ones who oppose these guys.

These West Pointers are the REAL military. The real heirs of George Washington.

The USA has a brilliant, honorable, chivalrous military tradition. And I shit on GW Bush and all of his Chickenhawk acolytes who have stained the US Army, THE most honorable Army since the Roman Republic, until GW Bush and his Chickenhawks all shamed it.

I repeat – something I’ve mentioned here many times before – General Washington had three horses shot from beneath him, and he always was in the front lines of combat, and he never asked his men to go anywhere where he was not personally willing to go himself.

THAT is the real American military tradition – which the filthy coward GW Bush and his supporters have all shamed.

“President” George Bush is not only a fake and illegal President – he’s not even American. George Washington would have had him whipped and tarred and feathered and then deported to Mexico.

Oh, let’s not inflict Dubya on Mexico…I think we should exile him to Iraq. After all, he’s helped build a New Iraq in his own image…

Best site I’ve seen that goes over the documentation and subclauses to highlight specifically where Bush broke domestic and intewrnational law. The letter they reproduce from Hamilton to all members of the Canadian Forces is brilliant, as well.
My only quibble is that they devote a page to MacArthur’s speech. MacArthur, the one fired for insubordination and who repeatedly wished to extend the Korean War into China, nuking Beijing….

“I think we should exile him to Iraq.”

As the song said:-

“Strap him with a AK-47, let him go fight his own war. Let him impress daddy that way”

Maybe he can take Aso with him, the constitution breaking warmonger that he is.
