China’s cheap pirated DVDs

China’s gift to the world. If they were any cheaper they’d have to give them away. Should we feel guilty when we buy them, knowing that our cost saving is taking away from somebody’s living? These guys don’t think so, and their post has ignited, as always, some thought-provoking comments.

I know that big pop stars in Taiwan like Zhou Jielun and Jolin count on making most of their money from concerts and endorsements, not record royalties. For good or bad, pirating is just accepted as a fact of life and the entertainment industry has had to adjust to it.

funny, I got the impression that it’s easier to find a better made, pirated copy of movies, musics, games in Taiwan, Malaysia, or Singapore than it is in China. Ah well, who cares, everyone just download now, esp up there in Canada…
