New Communist China News Aggregator

Who would have thought that ueber-neocons Chucky Johnson and the man in the funny hat Roger Simon would bring us such a precious gift? From the site of Open Pajamas Media (aka Open Sores Media, aka Open Sewers Media, and sorry, I forget the URL):

If you look at google news (http://news.google.com), half of the aggregated news there are also from Xinhua. Google news is without human editors, just computers collecting news based on algorithms of which piece and source are reputable and important. So, do you think you are better than Google?

Also, what is wrong with Xinhua? It is a internationally famous and responsible news agency. Please don’t attack things wildly!

Also, what’s wrong with those news pieces from Xinhua on OSM? Those news look very normal to me, and they are very important too.

I support Xinhua news! Absolutely support it!

It’s simply the irony of these guys on a perpetual anti-communism rant. I love Xinhua too. Wouldn’t start my day without it.

OSM has been like that from day one. I already complained to those 2 guys.

Richard can’t start a perfect day without Xinhua Reading, CCP-hired rats, such as HongXing 🙂

Who is this HongXing and where did he/she/it suddenly materialise from?

November 21, 2005 @ 12:41 am | Comment

According to Ivan, this HongXing actually shares most of his/her/its DNA profile from a common rat! Why so deferential to he/she/it then?

Keir,

I didn’t say it was a “common” rat.
The DNA sample was more like Mickey Mouse after years of Communist brainwashing.

My favourite headline from that selection is:

XIN: URGENT: Opposing “Taiwan Independence” in interest of China, US: Hu

I just love the combination of old-school Chinese propaganda and American newspaper headline conventions.

“Also, what is wrong with Xinhua? It is a internationally famous and responsible news agency.”

Am I supposed to assume this was said sarcastically or what?

Raj,

XINHUA says it’s an internationally famous and responsible new agenecy. Isn’t that good enough for you?

Do you have a problem with self-authenticating authority?

“As we all know……..” (Communist epistemology)

Ivan,

Ah, no – how can I dare challenge glorious Xinhua’s greatness 😀

I mean, we all know how many international press awards it has won 😉

November 22, 2005 @ 10:47 am | Comment

Xinhua is about as responsible as the New York Times (interpret this as you will 😉 )
