Hey Richard, I think you’re straying over the top when you resort to bathetic phrases such as “you won’t believe this” or “not for the weak”, and I think the lack of comments suggests others agree. Soldiers without limbs feeling betrayed about a war they now question isn’t news to even the casual visitor to this site. If I was among the core hardline conservatives that post comments, I’d probably set up a collection box for tissues for you. (Right after one for a Mao book of your very own…..)

I really didn’t expect comments to this – there’s not much to say. But you’re probably right in sounding bathetic. I’ll try to tone it down, but the truth was, i really did find it a shocking story. It told me things about the solders’ suffering that i really didn’t know before, or didn’t want to know.
