Simon’s Showcase

I hope all of you have visited Showcase, a collection of some of the blogosphere’s best, started by our very own ambitious Hong Kong blogger, Simon. Even though I disagree with a lot of the bloggers over there, I’m having fun going through the posts. Be sure to have a look. (It got cited by the Puppy himself yesterday, but I’m enjoying it anyway.)

thanks Richard, appreciate the publicity. I hope you keep coming back as there’s some interesting new entries going up all the time.

And feel free to spread the word with those from your side of the political fence so it doesn’t all get too one sided.

Richard,

I’m afraid I can’t support you on this one–those folks have already gone way “too one sided” for me. I still love the Republic too much to support those who are hell-bent on taking it back a century or two.

Of course, many folks say that I am stuck in the past–the 60’s civil-rights and counter-culture movements. And indeed I am. Probably because that was the last truly forward looking era and generation of our times.

I’m enjoying it because I like to read all points of view, liberal and conservative and otherwise. And there were a couple of liberal gems amid the conservative avalanche.

As I said I would be grateful if you could use your pull with some of the bigger “liberal” bloggers to publicise the venture too and get some newer blogs from that side of the street to send posts. It isn’t meant to be a partisan site.
