Eric Idle’s FCC song — not safe for the office!

This has been out for a week or so but I just came across it, and haven’t laughed so hard in days. You’ve got to hear it. It brings back all sorts of old Monty Python memories, while reminding us of just what an asshole John Ashcroft is (not that any of us would forget). If you’re at work, use headphones.

Brilliant.

That song is too funny. I hope somebody played it for Ashcroft. I’m sure his dentures would have dropped out.

good news: fcc supposedly signs deal with Clear Channel, dropping all indecency charges.

We can thank Eric Idle. It was the song that did it.

The news is that FCC agreed to drop charges in return for 1.75 million fine. Not totally GOOD news. More like paying protection money to the mob.

How did Ashcroft get dragged into this? The chairman of the FCC is a democrat appointed by Clinton. Ashcroft has much to be slammed on – but this one is a strecth IMHO.

Ashcroft has made it clear he wants to crack down on pornography and dirty words. He is the morality czar.
