A very moving post over at China Letter

I won’t try to steal the thunder from this excellent post. Suffice it to say I was tempted to do a “reverse fisking” of it — take it apart line by line and say how good each line is. Be sure to take a look.

The article she (he?) he links to — Let’s stop abetting dictatorship in Beijing — is essential reading for CCP watchers. (I may do a separate post on it later tonight if I have the energy.)

Dear Richard

I would just like to thank you for your kind review of a recent article of mine at my China Letter weblog.

It could not have come at a more fortuitous time as I was balancing web traffic and time invested and wondering was it all worth it.

A blog like mine does not elicit a lot of reader feedback and it was not only a wonderful surprise but extremely encouraging to read your post.

Thanks to you another 100 or so people have been exposed to the issues I attempt to address.

one reason that you might not get a lot of feedback is because your comments link does not work.

Steve, it was a great post, and I was very happy to link to it. (And Boy is quite right — I tried to leave a comment on your site and couldn’t.)

Keep up the great work; I read your site every day.
