Instapundit hits an all-time low

Often enough I find Glenn Reynolds a great read. Sometimes I even admire him. But not today. The one thing to his credit is that he apparently recognized the stupidity — the destructive stupidity — of what he did and took the despicable post down.

“Looking up, Glenn watched with trepidation as the waterskis traced a slow, long arc over his head…”

Treat Instapundit.com the way he blogs:

Ignore his writing and click the links. He has a directory there, and that’s it. Why bother reading his stuff it’s usually so sloppy?

In this case, Adam, I think the main problem was with what he linked to — another blogger’s post with a photo and phone number (!!!) of the alleged intern Kerry was getting it on with. It sounds like the blogger picker her name out of a hat with no proof, and listed her personal details. As though that’s not horrible enough, along comes Instapundit, who sends the entire world to the post. Thank God Glenn took the post down; it’s to his credit that he knew he’s fucked up. But what was he thinking?
