China be dammed.

I’ve been reading this site for over a year but don’t think I ever linked to it before. China National Geographic, a magazine modelled after its US prototype (not related), ran a feature edition about the 3-gorge dam project in 2003. A must read I should say. Though they can’t condemn the project given the censorship, they proved that it’s a disaster no less in gentle words.

Foot note: this is the standard proceedure Chinese journalists adopt to beat the censors. One needs to read between lines.
