shrub’s October surprise — Bin Laden, handed over by the CCP!

Well, I read it on the Web so it must be true — Osama Bin Laden is in China, and the CCP is negotiating with the bush administration to hand him over just in time for election day. At least that’s what one source is telling us, and it’s in El Mundo. Quien sabe? Rove has worked similar miracles at the 11th hour.

Jeremy, thanks for the link!

Bush’s spins on 380 tons of missing explosive got busted again…The original link to this KSTP-TV report has a video link at the top which shows the embedded reporters filming the now-disputed explosive materials at the al Qaqaa facility in Iraq.

The KSTP video is incredibly important in this context. It shows boxes marked ‘al Qaqaa’ and ‘High Explosives.’ It shows 101st Airborne troopers cutting the locks to the facility to get inside. Worse, it shows the KSTP embedded reporters stating flatly that, despite the fact that all these explosives were inside the facility, the place went completely unguardedhttp://www.kstp.com/article/stories/S3723.html

Oct. 30 – after weeks of intensive secret negotiations, the Chinese hand over Osama bin-Laden.

Nov. 2 – Bush wins 88% of the popular vote.

Nov. 4 – China attacks Taiwan; U.S. does nothing.

Yeah, I know, tinhat time… but if you were Karl Rove, and had a choice between losing the Presidency and “losing” Taiwan, what would you do?

Don’t put it past Rove. He’d give his mother to the devil to win an election.

Vaara,
I don’t think we should support Taiwan anymore. What’s the purpose of us supporting Taiwan?

I read similar reports a few weeks ago, and I laughed so hard I had to change my underwear. Bin Laden and the Evil Communists. hmmm….. anyone remember Afghanistan? Or for more recent events, does anyone remember anybody other than the CCP talking about how much the Uighurs love the Chinese government?

Oh, and Osama trafficking humans and drugs? Last I heard the Taliban had managed to all but stamp out opium production in Afghanistan at the time Osama lived there.

If Karl Rove does use this story to try and win, and then succeeds, then I will simply have to give up all hope of America ever managing to build a respectable education system. It is just too absolutely absurdly ridiculous.

Now I’m off to teach my students who are learning English in order to expand the drug and human trade in the Western world, thereby undermining the democractic regimes of the west and allowing us Commie bastards to take over the world, because that, of course, is what China’s education system exists for.

Excuse me, but that article, and as I’ve said, I’ve seen similar such articles before, well, you saw the results…..

I also heard this story. I think it appeared first (in China blog circles, at least) on Running Dog. I made a similar post and listed some of the predictable after-effects of such a move.

They are indeed sinister, however unbelievable. Go see them here

This was reported in the official Chinese media, in the Chinese language Global Times. One morning, stumbling out of my house, I happened to misread the headline, mistaking “There is no way that Bin Laden is in China” with “Bin Laden is probably in China.” Upon closer examination, I realized the story was not as interesting as I thought it would be. Anyway, I don’t believe it, although I do agree that there might be some good areas for him to hide in Xinjiang, it is gigantic and sparsely populated, and would probably be the last place anyone would suspect.

Also… el mundo? is that in any way related to telemundo?

I blogged this a little while ago here along with some other stuff on China – Xinjiang – Terrorism. I’ve got a link to the original article as well as the reasonably decent google-translation. It just makes no sense to me whatsoever, considering that China’s fear of seperatism is far too strong for them to tolerate any “deal” with Bin Laden and the fact that the borders out here in Xinjiang are porous to begin with, so the chances they’d be able to pin him down in order to deliver him for an October Surprise are absurd. This Gordon Thomas guy seems to be an opportunist with little scruples, or sense for that matter. Suspicions that Bin Laden could hide here have been bandied about before though, especially by the Chinese – as a rationale for security crackdowns and getting Uyghur seperatist groups placed on the UN Terror List, where they pale in comparison to their company.
