John O’Neill told Nixon he, too, was in Cambodia!

Oh, how sweet it was to watch it! O’Neill was quivering, trying to talk his way out of it. But Colmes said he had it on tape that O’Neill said he told Nixon he was in Cambodia, though he’s sworn throughout the whole recent mess that neither he nor Kerry were ever in Cambodia. Fiasco. If his comments to Nixon weren’t seared in his memory then, they sure are now!! Revenge is sweet.

See here for details.

How ’bout a link, Rich? I don’t follow the Propaganda Channel very closely, so I didn’t see this event.

Come to think of it, I think we know where Bush was when he went AWOL from the guard…

…that’s right, Cambodia!

I saw it on TV; just added a link to the post (and the post I link to has another link to a transcript).

And this supports the “I spent Christmas getting shot at by drunken allies five miles beyond the border while President Nixon swore I wasn’t there, somehow using the time machine to become president before his inauguration” story how?

I never said anything about that, Conrad. It shows the key ringleader of this smear campaign is a scumbag. Not that we didn’t know that already….

He’s a “scumbag” becuase, you assert, he said he wasn’t in Cambodia when he was?

Then, ipso facto, Kerry is a “scumbag” for saying he was in Cambodia when he wasn’t.

Okay, I’m cool with that.

Conrad, knock it off. He’s a scumbag for making it sound as though Kerry is the monster from hell because he said he was in Cambodia, when he himself said the same thing! No one is a scumbag simply for telling an anecdote that may be embellished or details forgotten. A person is a scumbag, however, when he tries to use such a silly mistake as prook that a man has no morals and is a bastard who can never be trusted.
